Five Star Meals

Our TEAM of over 100 food service professionals is anxious to start the school year preparing and serving over 7,000 breakfasts and lunches. As part of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, the USDA requires all school nutrition program employees to attend various training through-out the year.

Breakfast is designed to supply approximately ¼ of the vitamins, mineral, protein, carbohydrates and fat needed daily by the body. Lunch is designed to supply approximately 1/3 of the same nutrients. The nutritional value of the meals is evaluated over a period of days rather than calculated on a single meal or food item.

GREAT consideration has been taken to offer food items that not only meet the USDA Dietary guidelines for Americans but exceeds them.
