SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021

The Little Rock School District is pleased to announce the district’s policy for providing meals at NO CHARGE for all students at the locations listed below participating in the National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, regardless of eligibility category, during the 2020-2021 school term unless otherwise notified.  This is made possible through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Special Assistance Certification and Reimbursement Provision 2 Alternative.  Federal reimbursement for meals is based on applications on file for the 2018-2019 Base Year for the district.  These applications are filed and maintained at the Child Nutrition Office to ensure the strict confidentiality of each document and must remain safely filed for the entirety of the school district’s Provision 2 status.  The information on the applications will be made available only to State and Federal officials for review.  All adults, e.g., visitors, teachers, support staff members, and administrators of the district must assume the full cost of the meal which is $2.75 for Breakfast and $4.00 for Lunch.

NON-PROVISION 2 Schools– The following fourteen schools should fill out a meal application to determine your individual meal status:  Fair Park, Forest Park, Fulbright, Gibbs, Jefferson, Pulaski Heights Elem., Roberts, Williams, Forest Heights STEM, Pulaski Heights Middle, Pinnacle View Middle, Central, Parkview, and LR West

Meal applications are available beginning July 1, 2020 by visiting  Please be certain that the Little Rock School District is selected as your choice before you proceed.  Benefits are approved for July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021.

Although all students will receive meals at no charge through December 31, 2020, it is imperative that parents’ complete meal applications at non-provision school.  State and federal funds received by each district, are determined by the free and reduced percentages collectively from meal applications.  Families who have not completed a meal applications are strongly encouraged to do so.
