Welcome to Child Nutrition Services!



Children, Ages 1-18 years of age are eligible to receive 1 free breakfast and 1 free lunch per day. 


Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand. The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices. Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet states and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Meal Prices: All Students enrolled in Central Unified receive a Free Breakfast and a Free Lunch as part of the Community Eligibility Program. Free milk comes with a complete breakfast and lunch. Milk sold as an ala carte item costs 50 cents.  Students must purchase ala carte items with cash or money on their student meal account.
