2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

For the 2021-2022 school year, Los Alamitos USD is operating under the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program for School Breakfast and Lunch meal services. Under SSO, we are able to provide ALL students enrolled in our District a FREE breakfast and lunch meal. We are not collecting information for meal application eligibility, however, we are asking you to complete the LCFF Household Income Form.

Under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), which is the major source of funding for school districts from the State, the Los Alamitos Unified School District is eligible to receive an additional 20% in supplemental funds for students from low-income families to support academic intervention and concentration grants for additional student services.

The District encourages families to complete the LCFF Household Income Form (Click Here to access our online form) to maximize school funding for the benefit of our students. Families receiving CalFresh (Food Stamps), CalWORKS (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids), and FDPIR (Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations) do not need to fill out this form.

The form is very similar to the meal application form. You will need to provide information on the number of household members and household income. Only one form is required per family.

Please note that the information provided on your LCFF Household Income form is solely used for our school data collection. We do not share your information with other federal, State, or Local agencies.

Thank you for supporting the District by submitting the LCFF Household Income Form before September 30, 2021
