Please take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts.
Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play.
It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

Online payments are a simple, safe, and secure way to make payments to your students' accounts 24 hours a day at your convenience.

Schoolcafé is available for making online deposits and to make the selections for the purchases that are allowed for your child’s meal account.  You will also be able to use your credit card to make your deposits.  There is a fee of $1.95 per deposit day.  If you have more than one child in the District, the fee will be the same amount of $1.95.  If you wish to transfer money from one child’s account to another, please contact Courtnay Epler, Food Service Supervisor at 610-779-0700 ext. 1032 or email [email protected].

There is no fee to create and maintain your child’s accounts.  You may view the purchasing history as well as be notified of low balances through email.

This technology allows us to provide debit accounts for purchases and increases the speed of food service to students so they have more time to eat and converse.  Parents enjoy the convenience of prepaying for their child’s purchases at whatever level they choose.  The point of sale system also eliminates the overt identification of students who are eligible for free or reduced meal benefits.

The system allows you to pay in advance for meals and/or ala carte items.  Students still have the option to pay cash on a daily basis.  We urge you to take full advantage of this system by placing money into your child’s account on a weekly, monthly or annual basis.  You choose the amount you want to deposit.  Any money not spent by the end of school will be available for your child’s use the following school year.  You may use the feature to receive low balance notification.  For proper notification of low balances, it is recommended to use $8.00 as the minimum balance so that you are notified in a timely manner.

Schoolcafé Help Guide/FAQ


Did you say new features?  Exeter Township School District provides online cafeteria menus on the Schoolcafé website.  This gives you the ability to view what is on the menu at your child’s school cafeteria and view nutritional/allergen information.  There are also a bunch of cool interactive options as well for you to rate, favorite, and share what’s on the menu.  If you do not see anything relating to menus after signing in, don’t be alarmed – when we have everything updated, you will be able to use those additional features.  We’ll be sure to let you know.  Note:  Features relating to menus and menu item information (nutrition and allergens) are controlled by Exeter Township School District.

Serving the entire family with the introduction of student accounts Schoolcafé now allows student accounts.  Students 13 and older can create accounts to view and interact with the school cafeteria menu.  We’ve also created a cool new feature that allows students to connect to their cafeteria account to see their account balance and view their purchase history.  Our students always want to know what their account balance is and now they can access their account balance at any given time, knowing what was on the menu for the day, and that it would be really cool to have their ID accessible on their phone.  Note:  This feature is controlled by your school district and they will choose to turn this on or off.

Send Check or Cash

You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name, their ID #, their teacher's name, the $ amount and the check #. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.
