Please take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the meal lines go faster and give students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for something other than lunch.
Online payments are a simple, safe and secure way to make payments to your students account 24 hours a day at your convenience.
- Students may continue to pay cash when going through the lunch line.
- Warwick offers parents the option to put money on account to pay for meals. This can be done by sending a check in the envelopes provided, clearly marked with the students name, homeroom and amount of payment. Parents may apply any amount to the student’s meal account. There is no fee for this service. When students purchase a meal, the cost of the meal and any additional ala carte items will be deducted from the student’s balance. Students may not purchase another child’s meal on their account, and they may not receive cash from their account. Cashiers will advise students when their account balance is low.
Students must present their ID card to the cashier when using funds from their account to purchase a meal. High School and Middle School students have the option of entering their ID number at the register. This is to ensure that the proper account is being debited. DO NOT throw away ID cards when promoted to the the next level. The old card will be used until new cards are made after school pictures have been taken.
A nutritious meal is important to the success of our students. It is beneficial to your student to insure funds are available to purchase their meals. Please be assured that your student will never be denied a meal. However, if the student does not have funds, ala carte purchases will not be allowed.
Warwick Food and Nutrition continues to develop school menus to meet the calorie and low fat standards required by the National School Lunch Program. Please feel free to contact the Food and Nutrition office or your cafeteria manager with any questions. We look forward to seeing your student at lunch!
