Welcome to Child Nutrition Services!


Like many other companies across the nation, our manufacturers and distributors are currently having both supply chain and staffing challenges. We will be doing our best to provide all menu choices listed daily. Menu items are subject to change based on availability of our manufacturers and suppliers. We appreciate your understanding as we continue through these unprecedented times.

Free Meals (Breakfast & Lunch) for the
2021-2022 School Year

Curbside meals will be available for Northeastern School District enrolled students participating in our virtual Bobcat Cyber Academy program.  In addition, if your child/children should be quarantined this school year, you may sign up for Curbside Meals.  Families will have to sign
up for meals using the weekly order form link below.

Curbside Pick-Up (BCA) 

11 am-12 noon (Monday & Wednesday)

Location: NESD High School

NOTE:  Due to declining Curbside Pick-up Orders,
beginning October 4, 2021-
ALL curbside meal pick-ups will be at the high school kitchen door (Door #8)
(around to the left of the High School, by the dumpsters- Door #8)  

Please ring the buzzer.

When & How:

  • Meal distribution days will be Monday and Wednesday from 11:00-12 noon in front of the High School.
  • On Monday, we will distribute Monday & Tuesday meals. 
  • On Wednesday, we will distribute Wednesday, Thursday & Friday meals.
  • All meals served will be cold. Some meals will need to be heated.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being, and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

USDA Issues Pandemic Flexibilities for Schools through June 2022 to Support Safe Reopening and Healthy, Nutritious Meals

WASHINGTON, April 20, 2021 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today issued a broad range of flexibilities to allow school meal programs and childcare institutions across the country to return to serving healthy meals in fall 2021 as part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to reopen schools safely. Several meal service flexibilities that enable social distancing are now extended through June 30, 2022.
