Pre-Payment Options

Please take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

How do I put money into my child’s account?

  • Students can bring a check (made out to the “LASD Food Service”) or cash (checks are preferred to avoid large sums of cash being misplaced) to the cafeteria during lunch and give to the cashier, who will enter the amount into the student’s account. At the elementary level money may be monthly, yearly. In many cases parents send money monthly.
  • We will be accepting card payments through EZSchoolPay.com website. There is a transaction fee of $3.00.

How will my child know when their account balance is getting low?

  • Cashiers will let students know when their accounts are low.
  • Letters will be sent home when accounts are negative and funds are low.
  • Sign your child up on the EZSchoolPay.com website and receive low balance notifications via email, text message, or phone call.
  • Parents can expect emails through School Messenger when their child’s balance is low, and when a balance is owed.
