Welcome to School Nutrition!

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Eminence Independent Schools are participating in the Alliance for a Healthier Generation’s Healthy Schools Program. We will be working with the Alliance to transform our school into an environment where students eat healthier and move more.

Learn more about the Healthy Schools Program and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation at:http://schools.healthiergeneration.org

If you have any questions or suggestions about our participation in the initiative or would like to get involved with our team, please contact me.

Thanks for making Eminence Independent Schools a healthier place for students to live, learn and grow!

We want to welcome everyone to a new school year and look forward to helping you in any way that we can to make it a great year!  Please contact us with any concerns or questions.

Parents of students with special dietary needs are encouraged to complete the Medical Statement and meet with the Food Service Director to discuss food options.
