FREE MEALS TO ALL CHILDREN AGES 18 AND YOUNGER

Breakfast & Lunch Meal Distribution 

Meals are provided to all children attending school on campus, Distance Learners and Virtual Learners

Summer Meals - Please click on the "Summer Meals" button for information 

Students on Campus

  1. Meals are provided to all children attending school on campus Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 
  2. Meal distribution will take place upon dismissal from school. 
  3. Wednesday - Curbside meal pick-up available at all school sites Wednesdays between 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., when schools are in session.   
  4. Lunch and breakfast for the next day will be packaged in a Grab and Go bag.  
  5. Meals will distributed cold/frozen and may need to be heated at home.  Please follow food safety rules for heating and refrigeration.  

Virtual Learners

  1. Curbside Meal distribution available at Walnut School, 625 N. Walnut St., La Habra, CA
  2. 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, when schools are in session
  3. Lunch and breakfast for the next day will be packaged in a Grab and Go bag.
  4. Meals will be distributed cold/frozen and may need to be heated at home.  Please follow food safety rules for heating and refrigeration. 
  5. Meal validation cards will be completed at your pick-up site. 

School Closure - Distance and Virtual Learners

  1. Curbside Meal distribution available at all LHCSD school sites
  2. 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, when schools are in session
  3. Lunch and breakfast for the next day will be packaged in a Grab and Go bag.
  4. Meals will be distributed cold/frozen and may need to be heated at home.  Please follow food safety rules for heating and refrigeration. 
  5. Meal validation cards will be completed at your pick-up site.

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
