Whats the Scoop? -FOODSERVICE NEWS-

- February 9th, 2018 -

Today Original Pizza of Boston came to Watertown Middle School and worked with our staff to prepare whole wheat FRESH DOUGHBALL PIZZA for our students! At Watertown School Nutrition we are making every effort possible to bring fresher, less processed food to our students! Starting next month, fresh doughball pizza will be served at the middle school EVERY Friday. This pairs wonderfully with our salad bar that is prepared FRESH DAILY! There is no better time to buy school lunch!

The Watertown Public Schools Nutrition Department makes available breakfast, lunch, snacks, and milk daily to all students commencing on the first day of school. In addition, the Free and/or Reduced Price Meals Program subsidized by the Federal Government is also available to eligible students. A meal application was mailed home in the summer packet. A new application must be completed each school year for each child in the family. Families who feel that they are eligible to participate in the program should submit the completed application within three (3) days of its receipt. The food service department will notify the parent of their eligibility status. If you have a question regarding eligibility status or seek information on the program, contact:
