Welcome to Food Services!

Wheatland-Chili is excited to announce that we will be providing free summer meals for all children ages 18 and younger from July 6th - August 13th at the back parking lot of the MS/HS  every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Food Service department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

USDA Free Meals

The USDA FREE Breakfast and Lunch meals will be extended for every student during the 2021-2022 school year.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: families who qualify for the Free and Reduced meals must still apply so we have your application on file. Apply using the Free and Reduced application mailed to you in the District calendar or print a copy off of this page.

In the event that the USDA free emergency meal program ends the District will notify parents and guardians and transition back to the paid, free and reduced status using meal applications. Those prices are $1.65 for breakfast; $2,75 for lunch; and reduced priced meals are no pay.
