Meal Applications

Contact Information:

Only complete one application per family. If you have questions, please contact, Tricia Smith @ 706-754-2110

Free and Reduced Price Meals are available to all families. If your family chooses to apply please complete a "Free and Reduced Meal Price Application Form" by clicking on the link "Online Free & Reduced Meal Application" located on this webpage.  Families must reapply each school year for free and reduced price meal benefits.
If your child received free or reduced price meals last school year, they will continue to receive those benefits for the first 30 days of the new school year; this allows parents a reasonable amount of time to reapply. Please complete your application online (available in multiple languages) at and follow the link for Free and Reduced Lunch Applications (may be completed on a mobile phone, tablet, or computer).  To apply you will need the following information:  1) names of household members, 2) if anyone in your household receives SNAP or TANF benefits, you will need the Case Number, 3) total household income, 4) you will need the last 4 numbers of the signer’s Social Security Number. We encourage all families to complete ONE free and reduced application for your entire household (do not complete a separate application for each child).  All free and reduced meal benefit information is confidential.  You will be notified by email or mail of your child's status. Until notification, you must provide your child with lunch or lunch money.

The information you provide will be used to determine or prove your child's eligibility for free or reduced-priced meals. This information may also be used for other state or federally funded school benefits.

Foster children are categorically eligible for free meal benefits. An application is not needed yet there does need to be documentation of status by a state or local entity familiar with the child's status.  Foster children may be included in the household application as part of the household size.
