Welcome to Nutrition Services!


Welcome back to the new 2021 - 2022 school year. We are excited and proud to be of service to all students, staff and families of Laguna Beach Unified School District. As we move forward, we are committed to providing healthy meals that students enjoy and parents feel good about. 

For the past few years, LBUSD has been bring in new recipes that feature more whole grains and more scratch made meals. Other positive changes include reducing the sodium content of foods, and adding more servings and variety of organic fruits and vegetables. 


2021 - 2022 School Meal Updates


  • Breakfast and lunch continue to be FREE for ALL students for the 2021-2022 school year - no application required!
    • Complete an application here Online Meal Application Please be aware that meals are provided at no cost without completing this application. It is highly encouraged to complete this form as it provides additional benefits to you and the district such as grants, program funding, athletic waivers, and textbooks assistance, among others.
    • Student ID numbers can be found in AERIES
    • Students enter their student ID number and receive their FREE meal

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Food and beverages sold or served at school meet the nutrition recommendations of the U.S. Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

 The California Revenue and Taxation Code (RTC) Section 19853(b) requires local educational agencies (LEA) that operate the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) to annually notify households about the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Information Act.
