Pre-Payment Options

Please take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

Payment options:
Lancaster Central School District’s Food Service Department provides parents a convenient, easy and secure online prepayment service to deposit money into your child(ren)'s school meal account at any time. This service also provides parents the ability to view account balance(s) through the  MySchoolBucks.com Web Site.  There is a per transaction charge of $2.65 payable to MySchoolBucks.  This payment is not charged by the district.  You may also print out a copy of your child(ren)'s transaction history report.  This report will show you all dates and times of your child(ren)'s cafeteria purchase history.
You may also pay in person or mail payment to the Food Service Department Office @ 295 Pleasant View Drive, Lancaster NY.  
or send payment with your child(ren) in an envelope marked School Meals payment.  Your child(ren) can give payment directly to the cashier in the cafeteria and the payment will be put on your child(ren)'s account.

You may also register for email alerts at MySchoolBucks.com which will inform you when your child(ren)'s school meal account has attained a low balance.

Why is the Lancaster Central Food Service Department changing to MySchoolBucks from MyNutrikids?
 
MyNutrikids has merged with Heartland Payment Systems School Solutions to become part of MySchoolBucks. The MySchoolBucks solution provides a number of benefits and is already live in thousands of schools throughout the United States.
 
This change allows greater capabilities for users including:
  •  Scheduled recurring payments
  •  Automatic deposits when your child's account balance runs low
  •  Extended purchase history for the past 90 days
  •  Low balance email notifications
  •  E-wallet to save credit card information for future use
  •  Mobile-friendly website

While MyNutrikids payments were processed through the third party vendor PayPal, MySchoolBucks is a single vendor that owns and operates the entire solution.

What is the web address for MySchoolBucks?
 
 
Is my login username and password still the same for MySchoolBucks?
 
Yes, once the transition is complete , your existing MyNutrikids.com username and password will remain the same when logging into the MySchoolBucks.com website.
 
I have an existing MyNutrikids account, are my children still associated with MySchoolBucks account?
 
Yes. If you currently have an existing MyNutrikids.com account, your children will still be associated with your account after the transition to MySchoolBucks.com. An email will be automatically sent by the system to all parents registered with MyNutrikids explaining how to use the system and some of the benefits once their MySchoolBucks account has been activated.
 
Do I still have to use PayPal?
 
There is no need to use PayPal or any other third party service with MySchoolBucks. If you have already created an account through PayPal, it can still be used with other participating websites or canceled by going to the PayPal site.
 
What payment methods does MySchoolBucks accept?
 
With MySchoolBucks you can make a payment using your Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit card or debit card. You may also make payment using an E-check payment directly from your bank account. The convenience fee for cafeteria account deposits will increase to $2.75, which will cover all deposits made within a single transaction.

May I still make payments with Cash or Check without using MySchoolBucks.com Web site?
 
You may continue to make no-cost advance payments at all school cafeterias, with cash or by check, payable to the Lancaster Central School District. Please write your child’s full name on the check. Cash or Check advance payments are also accepted at the Lancaster Central School District Food Service Office located at 295 Pleasant View Drive, Lancaster, NY between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Checks can also be mailed to the Lancaster Central School District Food Service Department, 295 Pleasant View Drive, Lancaster, New York 14086.
 

How do I register with MySchoolBucks.com?

  • You will need your child's student ID number; you may get this number by contacting your child's school or  the Lancaster Central Food Service Department at 686-3246.
  • Click Sign Up and follow the easy steps on the screen for adding your child/children into the system. Follow the online instructions for making payments.

Online payments are a simple, safe and secure way to make payments to your students account 24 hours a day at your convenience.


Send Check or Cash

You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name, their ID #, their teacher's name, the $ amount and the check #. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.
