Welcome to Nutrition Services!         Video

The school food service program is an essential part of the total educational program. Based on the premise that well nourished students are better prepared to receive the instruction of the school day, the Nutrition Services Department plays a vital role in each school's educational team.

File Manager -> legislativeimage.pngThe Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 represents a major step forward in our nation’s effort to provide all children with healthy food in schools. This legislation includes significant improvements that help provide children with more nutritious food options, & teach them to make healthy food choices, forming healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

On a related note, due to Larimer County Health Department regulations, no home-made treats or snacks can be shared or sold on campus. This is consistent with the district wellness goals, the 2010 Hungery-Free Kids Act and the Nutrition Department. Please contact your Nutriton Manager at your school for more information.
