WELCOME TO NUTRITION SERVICES!

Beginning April 12, 2021, Little Lake City School District will open schools for hybrid learning.  Nutrition Services will continue to provide free meals to children, ages 18 and younger, for students attending school in-person, distance learning and for children in the community.

Hybrid Preschool, TK and Kindergarten Students:  Breakfast and lunch meals will be offered to students Monday through Thursday at dismissal.

Hybrid 1st Through 5th Grade Students: When students attend school in-person on Mondays and Wednesdays, a breakfast will be offered to students at the first morning break.  A snack will be offered to students at the second morning break.  A lunch for the current day and a breakfast and lunch for the following day will be offered to students at dismissal.

Hybrid 6th-8th Grade Students: When students attend school in-person on Mondays and Wednesdays, a breakfast will be offered to students at the morning break.  A lunch for the current day and a breakfast and lunch for the following day will be offered to students at dismissal.  

All Hybrid Students: A breakfast and lunch meal will be offered to all hybrid students on Fridays from Little Lake City School District's school sites, from 10:30 a.m.- 12:15 p.m.  An identification card will be provided to students, to be brought to meal distribution to expedite service.

100% Distance Learning Students and Community Children:  Meal distribution for 100% distance learning students and community children will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from Little Lake City School District's sites, from 11:00 a.m.- 12:15 p.m.  An identification card will be provided to students, to be brought to meal distribution to expedite service.  On Tuesdays, children will receive a breakfast for Wednesday and Thursday and a lunch for Tuesday and Wednesday.  On Thursdays, children will receive a breakfast for Friday, Monday and Tuesday and a lunch for Thursday, Friday and Monday.  

Please pick up meals from only one school site and one district.  

 

The Nutrition Services Department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meal Payment and Charging Policy

Breakfast and lunch meals for children ages 18 and younger are temporarily being served free of charge through the 2020/2021 school year.
