FREE MEALS FOR ALL STUDENTS THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2017
Cleveland ISD Child Nutrition will be serving meals free to all children beginning September 5, 2017 and ending on September 30, 2017. Hurricane Harvey severely impacted our community and this temporary waiver from Texas Department of Agriculture and the United States Department of Agriculture will be very helpful to our families that were effected by this storm.
Don't wait till September 30th to apply for free and reduced meals! Apply now so that your benefit determination is in place for October 1, 2017.

What happens to money in accounts from last year or for students who withdraw?
Any student with a positive balance in their account will begin the year with the same positive balance for the 17-18 school year. Your student's meal account will stay with them for their entire enrollment in Cleveland ISD--from PK to graduation! Even if your student withdraws from Cleveland ISD, their balance remains in their meal account until the parent/guardian request a refund or a transfer to another siblings account. Parents/Guardians can even request to donate the remaining balance to help students with negative balances! How can you request a refund, transfer or donation? Email firstname.lastname@example.org for the form. Only written requests will be processed and they must be signed by the parent or guardian. If your student withdrew from Cleveland ISD, their meal account will become deactivated. Any balance left in the account will remain in the account. That means if you didn't request a refund, transfer or donation, any funds left in the account will be available to them as soon as the meal account becomes active.
