Welcome to Food & Nutrition Services!

We know that good nutrition and learning go hand in hand!

Our Food & Nutrition Services Department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

The mission of the Rescue Union School District Food Services Program is to enhance the health, well-being and educational potential of children by ensuring their access to nutritious meals. The importance of school meals and their contribution to children’s ability to learn are becoming more apparent. Research has shown that there is a crucial relationship between healthy nutrition and learning. The major function of the food and nutrition program is to provide an attractive, appetizing and nutritious lunch for everyone in the school community each day.
