WELCOME to Food Services!

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Food Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Food Services for the 21-22 School year

This year under special waivers issued by the USDA, Food Services will continue to offer FREE meals to all students. Only full meals are eligible. As students begin the new school year on August 10th, the Food Services Team will continue to serve our students daily onsite with Breakfast from 7:30 am to 8:30 am, Brunch from 11:10 am to 11:25 am and Lunch from 12:50 pm to 1:25 pm daily.

The cafeterias are now cashless! If a student wishes to purchase Ala Carte items or a 2nd meal, they must have an active cafeteria account in Titan. To set up a Titan account, please click Here

The account will allow you to deposit money to your student’s cafeteria account for food purchases, monitor purchases made on the account, and check the menu.

Please note: students must be enrolled in an AUHSD high school for the account to link correctly; please wait until August to begin this process.

While all students will be offered free meals, eligible families are encouraged to apply for the Free & Reduced Meal Program. Students who qualify for the program are able to take advantage of additional programs and services including ( but not limited to):

  • Reduced application fee for colleges and universities
  • Reduced cost for SAT and ACT exams
  • Free ASB card and more

Acceptance of applications for the 2021/2122 school year will begin July 1st. Please click HERE to complete your application. For guidelines regarding income based applications and additional information about the program, click HERE
