Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.
The Sanger Unified School District Child Nutrition team is dedicated to providing safe, nutritious food to students and teachers, carefully following food preparation guidelines and monitoring sanitation procedures.
The Department of Child Nutrition consists of a team of food and nutrition professionals who are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
Give your children an academic impetus and encourage them to join us for breakfast and lunch at school every day. School meals save time, money, and are well planned.

Exercise Centeral
You can still get plenty of exercise during the long hot days of summer.
In the mornings while it is still cool out you can take a walk or ride your bike.
In the afternoons you can swim.
It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you are moving.
It only takes an hour a day to stay healthy.
