We know that good nutrition and learning go hand in hand!

The Food Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Our Mission

It is the mission of the Nutrition Services Department of the Anaheim Union High School District in partnership with the educational goals of the district, to provide  students with access to nutritious meals, to compliment nutrition education for the development of positive lifelong eating habits,  and to contribute to  student academic achievement in preparation for the future.

Our Goals

  • To provide nutritious foods at affordable prices.
  • To create a pleasant dining experience that encourages healthy eating habits and contributes to the overall education of our students.
  • To meet or exceed all standards for safe food service preparation and cleanliness.
  • To serve the students, staff and the school community as food service professionals.
  • To provide a positive and satisfying work environment for all Nutrition Service employees.
  • To run a fiscally solvent department and to ensure that the nutrition program does not encroach on the district’s general fund.
