Five Star Meals

Welcome to Nutrition Services!

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand!

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Meal Charge Policy

(This policy does not affect students on the Free or Reduced-priced school meal program.)

When a student's meal account balance reaches $0.00, Nutrition Services department will extend a $50.00 borrowing limit to allow parents time to repay and replenish the student's account. Once the borrowing limit is reached and a student comes to school with no provision for breakfast or lunch, they may receive a nutritious and adequate alternate meal.  To help eliminate the need of alternate meals, Nutrition Services has partnered with mySchoolBucks, an on-line payment service company, to allow for quicker fund deposits into meal accounts. Please visit www.mySchoolBucks.com and view their check or cash pre-payment options which are also available in the cafeteria.
