Great News!! We are excited to inform you that Porterville Unified School District will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program for the upcoming school year. The new program is called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
FREE AND REDUCED MEAL APPLICATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED for the 2016-2017 school year. However, parents may be required to complete an ALTERNATIVE INCOME FORM to assist with other state funding requirements.
The CEP program will provide a healthy breakfast and lunch each school day at NO CHARGE for ALL students enrolled in PUSD during the 2016-2017 School Year. This program does not include second meals and ala carte purchases, but these are available for an additional cost.
Parents please do not prepay for your student's school breakfast and lunch meals. Parents of High School students may prepay for the purchase of ala carte food items.
