LAUSD participates in the National School Lunch Program at all 10 school sites and
Child Development Centers and serves approximately 3,000 lunches per day. Lunch may be purchased at elementary schools for $2.50, at secondary schools for $2.75, and at the High School for $3.00. An extensive a la carte selection is available at secondary schools. Breakfast items are also sold before school at secondary sites.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines.

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.  The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

NEW!! This year- 2010-2011- every student will recieve a 5-digit personal identification number to use for lunches.  This number will not change as long as your student is with the Los Alamitos Unified School District.  Your student will receive the new PIN number at school.
