Remote Learning Meal Plan
Following Superintendent Matthew Ferron’s August announcement that the 2020-2021 school year would start with a hybrid learning model, the Hanover Public Schools Food Service Department began preparing to provide meals to students in a way that best supports the remote environment.
All Hanover schools will schedule meal pick-ups on Monday-Friday as open sites-meaning that any child in the household may receive a meal at no cost.
Schools will follow the individual school’s published menu, providing the hot meal of the day as a remote meal. Wednesday offerings are also noted on these menus.
In order to facilitate the process we ask that families pre-order their meals. To begin the pre-order process, parents will have the option to select a school pick up location. Email addresses for specific locations are listed below. If a family has students who attend different schools, they will have the option to request pick up from a single location. This also allows for parents to pick up meals for neighbors, or other children under their care.
We ask that pre-orders are submitted daily. Please include a family name and the number of meals you are requesting for pick up. Meals will be packaged and distributed curbside in accordance with the schedule below.
