Welcome to the Copperas Cove ISD
Child Nutrition Department
Our Department Vision: The Copperas Cove ISD Child Nutrition Department supports the vision and educational goals of the Copperas Cove ISD by providing nutritious, appealing meals to the students of this district at minimum cost.
The Child Nutrition Department strives to Enhance Education Through Healthy Nutrition!
Due to the nationwide materials and food supply shortages,
Copperas Cove ISD's distributors are not always able to fulfill our district food service orders and sometimes most items are delayed.
Some possible impacts are short notice menu changes and the use of different trays, plates, or food boats as available.
We will continue to update this home page for any menu changes to the best of our ability when changes arise.
We truly appreciate your understanding and work hard to provide quality meals for our students!
Mae Stevens Early Learning Academy Menu Changes:
December 6, 2021 we will be serving Baked Yams instead of Baked Fries at lunch.
December 9, 2021 we will be serving Baked Fries instead of Sweet Potato Fries at lunch.
December 10, 2021 we will be serving Turkey & Cheese Munchable instead of Cheese Pizza. There will not be a manager's choice on this day.
December 15, 2021 we will be serving Green Beans instead of Garden Salad at lunch.

Effective Immediately: Due to limited quantities available for delivery from distributors , Lactaid will not be offered as a milk choice with meals. Only those having notes (parent note or doctor note) on file will be given Lactaid. currently we can only obtain Lactaid milk in gallon containers so the milk will be poured in 8 oz servings into a cup with a lid for those students who meet specific requirements.
We will keep you informed of any updated information on product as it becomes available.
Milk choices at every meal service will include: 1% milk and skim milk.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to work through manufacturing and delivery issues with products. For more information please call 254-547-1227 x11504
