PrePayment Pre-Payment Options

Please take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

Pre-Paid Lunch Program

The School Lunch Program uses a prepaid P.O.S. register system that provides greater convenience for our students and a higher level of accountability for our lunch program in grades K-12.

Your child will have an individual account into which you will deposit money. This account is for all of  your child’s lunch, milk or snack purchases whether prepaid or cash daily.  All students enter their PIN number at the register.  The student’s account will appear on the cashier’s monitor and the transaction is complete.

Danvers Public Schools Charging Procedure

In recognition that a child’s nutrition is very important to a successful learning experience the Food Service Department will make accommodations for students that have no money in their account or have forgotten their money.  As with any institution the school system has an obligation to be fiscally accountable and cost effective.  In an effort to meet these two priorities we have developed the following Charging Procedure.
