Food Truck Program

The Burlington School Food Project and Dealer.com have teamed up on a cutting edge food truck program that will launch in spring 2014. The food truck will be an extension of existing hands-on gardening and cooking programs, while taking the district’s dynamic food culture to
the streets.

The heart of the mobile restaurant will be a culinary job training program that employs students from both Burlington High School and Burlington Technical Center. The food truck will be integrated into academic classes such as business and culinary arts, and will provide meals that focus on local
and seasonal ingredients including vegetables, fruit, and honey from the Burlington School Food Project’s network of school gardens.
