Learning does not end when school lets out. Neither does the need for good nutrition. Good nutrition is essential for learning in school. Continuing healthy eating habits is also important during the long hot summer months. Make seasonal fruits and vegetables a high priority for your snacks, meals and anytime. Make good nutrition a priority all summer long, and students will return to school in the Fall healthy, sharp and ready to learn.
NEW! Greenfield Union School District's Nutrition Services is now offering an online service to help parents better manage their child’s school meal account. In addition to checking their child’s school meal balance online, parents may use their Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card to enter a payment to their child’s meal account. They may also set their account up to send them an email reminder when their balance is low.
Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet states and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students. For information concerning payment for meals, Free and Reduced Meal Program, Point of Sale and other questions and concerns please contact our office. Greenfield Union School District plans all of their breakfast and lunch menus according to the USDA's School Meals Initiative for Healthy Children.
