Welcome to Nutrition Services!

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet states and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Greenfield Union School District offers a balanced nutritional breakfast and lunch program at all schools.

For information concerning payment for meals, Free and Reduced Meal Program, Point of Sale and other questions and concerns please contact our office.

Greenfield Union School District plans all of their breakfast and lunch menus according to the USDA's School Meals Initiative for Healthy Children. In addition, we plan menus that children will enjoy and that will contribute to their overall health and well-being.

Our Goal is to:
* help students achieve academic excellence by balancing good nutrition with physical fitness.
* provide low cost, nutritious, well-balanced, and good-tasting meals so that all students will be able to learn at their best.
