Welcome to Nutrition Services!

July, 2018

Dear Parent or Guardian,

We are pleased to inform you that Greenfield Union School District will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the “Community Eligibility Provision” or CEP, for 2018-2019 School Year.

What does this mean for you and your children attending school within the Greenfield Union School District?

Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2018-2019 school year. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee.

A meal application will not be required to receive meal benefits, however, each household will be required to complete the enclosed “Educational Benefit Form” to ensure the maximum funding available is received for your student’s classroom. This Form is the best fundraiser to ensure the maximum number of dollars available are allocated to each and every classroom in the Greenfield Union School District. Only one Form per household is required. Please complete and return the form to your student’s school today!

If you have any questions, please call our office at (661)837-6020 and any one of our staff members can assist you in completing the application.

Sincerely,
Josh Rogers,
Director of Nutrition Services
