APPLICATIONS FOR FREE AND REDUCED PRICED MEALS WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE STARTING IN AUGUST.  FOR DETAILS VISIT YOUR SCHOOL WEBSITE.

Or

Pick up an application at school site and return it to school cafeteria

 

This district participates in Direct Certification (CalWorks, CalFresh, KinGap, FDPIR):   If you receive notification that your child has been directly certified to receive free meals for the school year, you DO NOT need to apply for meal benefits.  If you choose to send in an application, it may result in a new determination of meal benefits based upon the information provided.  If you do not receive notification, you must apply for meal benefits by completing a meal application.

 

            (√)       Complete only one (1) meal application per household.

                  

(√)     Allow 10 days for processing the application and if you do not receive notification of benefits please contact the Child Nutrition Office at (619) 644-8184.

 

(√)     Please send money or a sack lunch until you have been notified that your application has been approved.  Student meal benefits will begin when a complete meal application has been processed at the Child Nutrition Office and communicated electronically to the school cafeteria.

 

(√)     If your child transfers within Grossmont District, you do not need to fill out another application.

 

(√)     PREPAYMENTS:

    Internet Deposit – deposits show up in student’s account within 72 hours.  Simply go to: www.myschoolbucks.com

          Pay by check – make check payable to school cafeteria.
