The PUSD Edible Garden Resource Center under the Child Nutrition Department opened in 2013.  Our Garden Supervisor Michelle DeCoy has started and maintains 11 school gardens at 13 schools in the district.  We had scholars from Willow Cove Elementary School invited to the White House by the First Lady in 2014.  Our goal is to create an outdoor, hands-on classroom for the PUSD scholars and to promote great nutritional choices.  Some of our activities include teaching garden lessons to all elementary school students, hosting garden markets and plant sales open to the community, and having students involved in their gardens.

We cannot exist without community involvement, therefore please read over the opportunities below and connect with us if you are qualified and interested.
